La seconda parte della Rassegna L’ENERGIA DEI LUOGHI, quarta edizione, continua con un ricco programma di manifestazioni espositive e eventi culturali al fine di recuperare quella interazione fra ARTE, SCIENZA e SOCIETÀ che per secoli ha rappresentato una spinta importante nel progresso umano. Febbraio porterà nel Comune di Duino Aurisina la straordinaria mostra d’arte contemporanea L’ORDINE DEL TEMPO in collegamento con l’esposizione ENDEMIC versus GLOBAL di Città del Messico. L’esposizione sarà anticipata dalla pièce LE LETTERE DI RITA, omaggio a Rita Levi Montalcini e accompagnata dalla performance sonora LA MUSICA DELLE PROTEINE. Inoltre, la mostra diffusa di manifesti fotografici IL COLORE DEI LUOGHI e l’itinerario IN VIAGGIO CON “PAPIR” proporranno interessanti incontri culturali transfrontalieri. Il mese di Marzo inizia con i PONTI LETTERARI DI AURISINA seguiti dalla mostra di pittura PCK e dagli incontri DONNE CHE SFIDANO IL TEMPO, dialoghi sulle artiste che hanno dato impulso alla storia dell’arte. Per continuare con la mostra multimediale REPLAY e i concerti di valenza internazionale, LA RISONANZA e IL TRILLO DELL’UNIVERSO 3. Domenica 30 marzo si concluderà la rassegna con una grande kermesse artistica. Nel territorio dei paesi di Ceroglie, Malchina e Visogliano incontreremo spettacolari lavori di LAND ART, progetti sperimentali quali LA STORIA INVISIBILE, ÉPHÉMÈRE e CATALYST EUTERPE, l’esposizione dei CREATIVI DI MALCHINA, la performance REIMAGINING AN ENEOLITIC REFUGE, la mostra di pittura ROŽE&FIORI e il dibattito sulle CONNESSIONI, fra scienza e arte seguito dal prelibato buffet PANE, AMORE E … ENERGIA.

The second part of THE ENERGY OF PLACES, fourth edition, will continue with a rich program of exhibitions and cultural events as to bring back the interaction between ARTS, SCIENCE and SOCIETY, which for centuries has represented an important engine in the progress of humankind. In February, in the Municipality of Duino Aurisina, the extraordinary exhibition of contemporary art THE ORDER OF TIME will take place in connection to the exhibition ENDEMIC versus GLOBAL of Mexico city. Before the exhibition, the piece RITA’S LETTERS will take place, a hommage to Rita Levi Montalcini and accompanied by the sound performance MUSIC OF THE PROTEINS. Moreover, the diffused exhibition of photographic posters THE COLOR OF PLACES and the itinerary TRAVELLING WITH “PAPIR” will give you the chance to take part in interesting crossborder cultural meetings. March will begin with the LITERARY BRIDGES OF AURISINA, the painting exhibition PCK and the meetings of WOMEN WHO CONFRONT TIME, dialogues on female artists who left a trace in history of art. Then there will be the multimedia exhibition REPLAY and the two international concerts RESONANCE and THE SOUND OF UNIVERSE 3. On Sunday, March 30, ENERGY OF PLACES will end with a great artistic event. In the areas of the villages of Ceroglie, Malchina, and Visogliano, we will have the chance to see spectacular LAND ART works, experimental projects like THE INVISIBLE STORY, ÉPHÉMÈRE and CATALYST EUTERPE, the exhibition of the CREATIVES OF MALCHINA, the performance REIMAGINING AN ENEOLITIC REFUGE, the painting exhibition ROŽE&FIORI and take place in the debate CONNECTIONS between science and art, finishing with an exquisite buffet BRED, LOVE AND … ENERGY.

The Exhibition/Seminar THE ENERGY OF PLACES successfully carries on the experimental relationship between art, science and society correlating contemporary artistic research, scientific culture, and knowledge of the territory in both an esteeming perspective and integrated promotion. The Festival begins in Duino Aurisina (Trieste) and offers both a plentiful program of multimedia events as well as the seminary OF THE ELEMENTS AND EVERYTHING, whose aim is a debate between the diverse ways of thinking such as scientific/creative, global/local as well as future vision. The Seminar will anticipate 2019, which is the 150th year from the Periodic System and Table invention, a masterpiece of science to classify chemical elements and at the same time an occasion to link this centrality to cultural, economic, and social aspects. Scientists, curators, artists, and local personalities will attend. THE ENERGY OF PLACES also presents events in collaboration with “ROBOTICS – Festival of Art and Robotics” from Trieste, as well as relational meetings with readers (TOPI DA BIBLIOTECA e JUNA INVITA), local creatives (MALCHINA CREA | MAVHINJE UREJA | MALCHINA CREATES) and the project “OVER THE RAINBOW”, introduced by STUDIO MIMA from Visogliano and accompanied with refined auditory experimentations.
